The Bloody Cleanup

Written by Manon Beaudoin

Vancouver East Cultural Centre, March 14 - 18, 2006

Directed by James Fagan Tait. Musical direction by Joelysa Pankanea. Featuring Patti Allan, Lois Anderson, Manon Beaudoin, Camille Gingras, Robert Perrault and musicians Allison Jenkins and Joelysa Pankanea. With design by Bryan Pollock (set), Itai Erdal (lights) and Marina Szijarto (costumes).

An absurdist clown retelling of the French Revolution as told by the severed head of Marie Antoinette. A physical piece about the denial of death and change. Death is a great clown subject. Humour is mankind's saviour.
